Martin and then moved both businesses to 534 North Hancock Street. He taught his sons the business and operated jewelry and grocery activities together for some years. In 1921, Marcellus sold the grocery store and operated the jewelry repair business exclusively. He purchased the property at 1007 West Leigh Street in 1922.
