I have used this in the past but just ordered the 2 can deal on Amazon.I have used it mostly on the original soft top on a 2004 BMW Z4. I watched a YouTube video where they sprayed it on and then rubbed it in by hand. I used that method after I saw the video and am pleased with the results. Some comments say that it doesn’t water proof the top. All I know is that when washing the car the water beads up on the top. Of course if you spray the water continuously for a while it no longer beads, what do you expect, the top is cloth after all. No water gets through to the inside of the car but I’m sure that there is an inner layer of the top that is designed to keep water from penetrating to the interior.I like the results I get from this product and though it is a bit pricey I plan on continuing to use it.I have also used it on a cloth tonneau cover on a 6’ bed Tacoma. Since it takes so much product to cover the tonneau, I have not used it on that as often as I have on the car but the tonneau is still in great shape after 5 years. One of the cans that are on the way will be dedicated to the Tacoma.If your expectations are within reason you should be pleased with this product.
