First debuted on our 1/4 mile record holding shop Audi R8, the T1 R8 Drag Spoiler is now ready for public release! They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but you would be hard pressed to find someone who doesn’t love the sleek look of this setup. The expertly crafted 100% carbon fiber spoiler follows the OE body lines nicely, while extending the rear deck a significant amount. What does this mean? By extending the rear deck, the air passing over the car is forced to travel further back before tumbling into the turbulent area behind the car, while the integrated wicker also redirects the air from this undesirable area, thus reducing rear lift. Another benefit is the removal of the OEM rear wing, thus decreasing drag. It’s not often you get to increase both form and function, but the T1 R8 Drag Spoiler unquestionably does so! All elements are finished with a gloss clear coat, forged carbon top layer, and are composed of 100% carbon fiber. The kit comes with the element, four support rods, support rod brackets, and all hardware.
