I absolutely love these little spoons! They are thick, well made, sturdy, seem durable; good quality in sum.I have to give my dog her medication twice daily by mixing it into a spoonful of canned dog food. I can’t use pill pockets due to an allergy elimination test, so I was getting complaints for using our spoons to feed the dogs. My dog also prefers not to eat from cold metal spoons.Now, I simply drop the pill into the can of dog food, scoop out a spoonful that surrounds the pill, and my dog happily eats it off the spoon!Once she’s done, I wash the spoon by hand without upsetting anyone since I no longer use our cutlery/flatware.Plus, if my dog accidentally bites down too hard on the spoon, I don’t worry since it’s just made of wood and won’t have sharp edges like broken plastic spoons.I specifically chose these spoons over others because some alternatives had a wooden taste, which I didn’t want my dog to experience. While my dog sometimes licks around the pill, I’m pleased that I no longer have to handle it directly. I’m really glad I found these particular wooden spoons on Amazon!The other spoons will be used for condiments, they are a great value!
